Biography
Dr. Bataa Mohamed Elkafoury is currently working as Professor of medical physiology in Faculty of Medicine , Ain Shams University ( EGYPT – CAIRO). She is the former chairman of the physiology department in the last three years . She was a visitor for teaching and evaluation of the students in faculty of medicine in Tripoli University-Lebia). Dr bataa is a refree member of scientific research submitted for promotion of professors in Egyptian universities . Dr Bataa is the external evaluator for the course of physiology for under-graduated and post-graduated students of el-Azhar faculty of medicine as well Suez canal faculty of medicine in Egypt. She is one of the re-constructor of course of physiology for nurses in ministry of health. She participated in academic , scientific , educational activities in her faculty and she had its share in construction of first self- assessment study of Ain Shams - Faculty of Medicine for first national accreditation. Dr Bataa participated in multiple books for her department in physiology specially for under graduate and she is the single author for a book titled (physiological approach to clinical cases) in trial to manage physiology by an applied -non complicated manner. She was the organizer of the first national competition of physiology among Egyptian universities and the supervisor for students in her faculty to share in the 16 th international competition of physiology in Malaysia 2018 . She was also the organizer and head of the first three physiological conferences in Ain shams medical university in last three years. Dr Bataa is the Reviewer For physiological research in: Ain Shams medical journal, Bulletin of Egyptian society for physiological sciences (ESPS , journal of the Arab Society for Medical Research.
Research Interest
Basic medical sciences specially that focus on the interplay between the different body organ in health and disease and recently, the researches which directed towards the molecular mechanisms that could explain the disturbed function as well as the effect of environmental factors on health .
